I love taking pictures of people, I wish I knew more people who didn't turn away when I bring my camera out. A lot of these are of me, because like i've said, I haven't had anyone to experiment on.

This was the first time I tried the manual settings on the camera. Most of them came out pretty horrible, I pulled the decent ones. Eating at a Pho restaruant isn't exactly the most exciting subject for photographs, but I want to get as comfortable with the camera as I can.

One of my good friends Mike was a DJ for a convention over Memorial weekend as well. I was kind of nervous because the room was really dark, I didn't want to use flash and blind him while he was spinning, and I didn't really know a safe place to stand. So I just kind of experimented with different settings.

I saw a really amazing band Memorial weekend. They're from Japan, and have one of the most unique sounds i've encountered in awhile. Not to mention i've yet to see anyone come close to matching their onstage energy. I'm kind of sad that I didn't seem to catch their quirk on the camera, but i'll go ahead and blame that on it being the first day I had my new digital.

Hi, I'm Erin and this is my photography journal. I doubt my pictures are good enough to qualify having their own journal as of yet; but I thought it would be nice to have a link where people could see all of my stuff and judge for themselves. I'm very much an amature. Any and all critisim is welcome. Only naked* pictures will be  .
